Sample Texas WDI Inspection Report

WDI FX™ Pest Control Software includes the Texas T-4 Wood Destroying Insect Report in the Inspection Module. The Texas T-4 Report is the official wood destroying insect report form, published by the Texas Structural Pest Control Board.

This easy to use form includes integrated photo pages (WDI FX Photo Manager required) and the ability to store Texas WDI graphs created with Windows Paint or our Signature Scene drawing program (see Signature Scene info below). In addition, the WDI FX Texas T-4 Report includes an Addendum which allows users to document property conditions that will not fit in the standard Texas WDI form. Information can be entered manually or by using the built in Finding and Recommendations Library which ships with over 100 standard comments and can store an unlimited number of comments.

In order to email Texas WDI reports, WDI FX enables users to add the inspector’s signature and Texas State license number automatically to each Texas T-4 Report. To email a T-4 Report you simply click the “Print” button and then select “pdfFactory” as your printer (in fact, you may want to set pdfFactory as your default printer since you will no longer need to print or fax hard copies to your clients). pdfFactory enables you to view your T-4 Report as a PDF, print to another printer connected to your computer or email it to your client.

Signature Scene Site Drawing Software

Signature Scene™ is a complete drawing tool designed to address the specialized drawing requirements for T-4 Report forms. Signature Scene™ provides intelligent tools that enable the rapid creation of accurate building site drawings complete with easily recognizable icons to document the presence of WDI activity in T-4 Reports. The program includes icons for shelter tubes, insect parts, most types of common insects, and can be used to document wood destroying insect damage or provide the location of bait stations in residential and commercial buildings.

Signature Scene™ uses concepts and terms familiar to any pest control professional. The result is a "mini-cad" software system that provides the power to create a drawing which will represent any building site. Best of all Signature Scene™ is very easy to learn and use. WDI FX™ users can access Signature Scene™ by clicking on the "Art Palette" button located on page two of the T-4 Report.
